Democracy Day and D-day have finally arrived. The date also set aside for Buhari Must Go protest, which has been scheduled to hold in set locations across the country.

However, the government seems not to back down in its threat that no protest, no matter how peaceful it may be and in line with the civic rights of the citizens, be held.

The Nigerian police and army were moblizd in large numbers on the streets, in an apparant show of strenght to intimidate any intending protester.
