The Governor of Enugu State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi listed some milestone achievements he has made in his 6 years so far in office. They are listed below:
.Recruitment and Regularization of 314 Traffic Officers in Enugu State Ministry of Transport among others.
.Up to date in the payment of the new N30,000 minimum wage and payment on or before 23rd of every month.
.Covered over 690 km of roads, mostly in the rural areas across the state while others concentrated in the urban areas.
.Implemented 1,355 projects at various primary and secondary schools in Enugu
.Recruited 7,03 primary and secondary school Teachers.
.Supplied and installed computers in 490 primary and secondary schools.
.100 Patrol Vans to Security Agencies.
.260 Security Vehicles and 260 motorcycles to Vigilantes and Neighborhood watch groups.
14km Opi – Nsukka dual carriageway.
.Ongoing first state Flyover Bridge Project at T-Junction.
.Tech Hubs & Youth Innovation Centre in LGAs to empower the youths with the demanding skills of the 21″ century
.Rehabilitation of facilities at Ajali and Oji River Water Treatment Schemes.
.Ongoing rehabilitation of the Mile Crash Programme Water Supply Scheme
.Repositioned Enugu State internally generated revenue- IGR
.Enthroned good governance, equity, fiscal discipline, accountability, and transparency in the running of government business.
.With the massive support of the Governor, the Rangers International club won the
.2015/2016 Nigeria Professional football league and 2018 federation cup
.Recruitment of the Forest Guards
