The Federal Executive Council – FEC, held a meeting and one of the talks was about lifting the ban on Twitter in Nigeria.
After the meeting, the FEC concluded that Twitter ban in Nigeria will only be lifted if the following conditions are met:
- Twitter becomes duly registered, licensed, and operates within regulations in Nigeria
- Twitter will pay tax to the Nigerian government.
- Twitter has an office in Nigeria and has Nigerians as its employees
