Here is an advertisement of Airtel shading Glo over their poor network and huge data gifts to their subscribers, as they pride themself as the Grand Master of Data.
Glo Network prides itself as the Grand Master of Data because they had the cheapest data. However, their subscribers lament that they are unable to use the huge data balances because of the very poor network offered by Glo Network. They end up accumulating huge data balances which are rolled over and remain unused.
The advert which is from Airtel Network is directly targeted at their fellow competitor, Glo Network, and it’s a mockery of their Network and Data operations in Nigeria.
In the video advertisement, a man dressed in Green, which is the color of Glo Network, serves a woman a good sumptuous looking meal, only for the waiter to have a second thought, turn around, pick up the served meal before the lady can even get a taste, and devour it to the amusement of all. He then goes for the drink and slurps it dry!
The advert then advises viewers to “switch to Airtel and get what you pay for!”
The shocked lady then moves over to another waitress who is dressed in Airtel color and transacts happily with her.
