The founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates, announced on his Twitter handle, that his marriage with his wife-Melinda Gates, is over and they are divorced! Their marriage lasted for 27 years and produced 3 children.
“After a great deal of thought and a lot of work on our relationship, we have made the decision to end our marriage. Over the last 27 years, we have raised three incredible children and built a foundation that works all over the world to enable all people to lead healthy, productive lives. We continue to share a belief in that mission and will continue our work together at the foundation, but we no longer believe we can grow together as a couple in this next phase of our lives. The divorce came as a huge shock as the world has been greatly touched by the impacts of their joint Foundation, named, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF).
Bill Gates did not give any reason for the divorce with his wife, Melina Gates. He however implored the public to give them “space and privacy” as they go through their post-marriage lives.
