Investigative Journalist Kemi Olunloyo has come out to urge Nigerians not to accept the directive of of the Federal Government through the National Communications Commission- NCC, mandating all telecommunication users to link their sim cards to their respective National Identity Number- NIN.
According to her, the directive will enable the Federal Governement effectively track down who ever that goes against their wishes, such as the #endsars protesters.
She also said that the directive infringes upon the rights of Nigerians and can be mis-used in crime cases.
