Following the formation of the Youth Democratic Party, which sprung up in the aftermath of the #endsars protests, Kemi Olunloyo has come out to warn Nigerians against it.
The purpose of the Youth Democratic Party was to produce fresh leadership for Nigerians, which will comprise of people below 40 years old. Another major goal of the fresh party was to ensure that only new faces will be elected into positions of authority, this is to eliminate the continuous recycling of old leaders who have been in politics since the ’80s.
However, investigative Journalist Kemi Olunloyo has warned Nigerians to disregard that party. She warned that the Youth Democratic Party is heavily funded by the same top PDP and APC politicians. She warned that whoever emerges winner of any political post will surely dance to the tunes of Godfatherism, the very cause that brought Nigerians to this situation.
