The naira crashed to another record low of NGN505 to $1 despite continued FX sales from the CBN to support dollar demand. The local currency lost a whopping NGN27 from its last value of NGN/$478 nine days ago!
The record bottom will see another round of increase in prices of goods and services as the nation prepares for the yuletide season.
