Following the violence that erupted the nation in recent times, the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos state, issued a special circular, calling for special prayers from the faithful and directing all catholic priests to celebrate at least one mass per day for nine consecutive days.
The circular which was issued by the Archbishop of Lagos, Alfred Adewale Martins, also urged every family and every other person, to always say the rosary, prayer for Nigeria in distress, and prayer to St Michael the Archangel.
